  17. NewTek's LightWave 3D 4.0. VertiLectric allows LightWave animators to create
  18. highly realistic lightning and electrical arc effects.

  22.  VertiLectric is a plug-in for both the Modeler and Layout portions of LightWave
  23. 3D. This two-fisted approach gives you maximum flexibility when composing and
  24. generating your animations.

  88.  The demonstration is fully functional within LightWave Modeler , but has only
  89. three control parameters. See the  VertiLectric Tutorial for more information on
  90. using the demonstration. The commercial version allows much more extensive
  91. control over lightning bolt parameters and works both as a Modeler & Layout
  92. plugin.

  94. Installation:

  96.  Copy the appropriate plug-in file for your system to your plugins/modeler
  97. directory.

  105.  Start LightWave Modeler 4.0 and choose "Add Plugin" from the "Objects/Custom"
  106. pop-up.

  108.  Select the plug-in from the file requestor.  In the "Custom" menu, you will
  109. find "VertiLectricDemo" added the list.  When you quit Modeler, the plug-in will
  110. be saved in the list for future use.

  114.  The demonstration is freely redistributable. Feel free to give copies to your
  115. friends and post in other archives and BBS systems. All we ask is that the
  116. plugins and documentation files be distributed together and in an unmodified
  117. form.
